African Christmas with Amira and friends is Amira’s Christmas streaming concert in an African style. Amira invited a number of her music friends to join her on stage in order to bring the warmth and joy of Christmas to homes of her fans all over the world. The team of special guests includes internationally acclaimed artists, such as a tenor, Lukhanyo Moyake, the energetic and colourful Mzansi Youth Choir, Akustika Chamber Singers, Amira’s String Ensemble, and last but not least, a Steinway ambassador, Dr Charl du Plessis. It is going to be a Christmas concert like you have never experienced before – a combination of classical, religious and traditional Christmas songs, but with an African twist.

The concert will not only bring joy and happiness to the audience, but also to children in South Africa as all proceeds from the concert will go to Amira’s Gelukskinders Foundation – All children have a right to play.
